Ashwell Tennis Club
Ashwell Tennis Club has existed in one guise or another for nearly 100 years and was formally created in 1961 when it moved to the former Merchant Taylor’s site on Mill Street.
Unfortunately, the re-development of the Mill Street site has left the club temporarily homeless and we are currently considering a number of options for new improved facilities in the village.
In the meantime, the club has been lucky enough to be given the use of a private court in Ashwell on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons/evenings and we continue to hold tournaments, club evenings and social events throughout the year.
The club is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association.
